I never believe signatures in movies. Each time they’re shown, they look like they were farted off rather than developed over a lifetime. So they break the movie’s spell.
If the whole signature here was built out of the materials in the final E, we’d finally have one I buy. 🍿

One great thing about movies from the ‘40s is you get to see really vigorous handshakes. Like there was a contest to see who could rip off whose arm first.

The no-likes feature should be rethought. It would be nice to show appreciation for a thing without having to comment. Having likes but keeping them private would serve the same no-dick-measuring ends. (I’m generally quiet and don’t have much that’s untrite to say about things.)

The more I think about Mank, the less I like it. I’ll watch it again in the new year (because Fincher) and see if it works better for me on a second viewing.
